Manoj Bajpayee Remembers Amitabh Bachchan’s Zanjeer’s Influence On His Young Mind

Manoj Bajpayee holds a particular place in the hearts of his followers and is renowned for his outstanding screen presence. He has influenced a generation of actors, changing the movie business. The actor recently discussed a movie that influenced him as a young man in an interview. The 54-year-old actor admitted to Anupama Chopra of Film Companion that Amitabh Bachchan’s Zanjeer served as his acting mentor. Zanjeer, which was directed by Prakash Mehra, helped Amitabh Bachchan become known as the “angry young man” of Bollywood. No other movie, in Manoj’s opinion, had the same deep effect on his impressionable mind as Zanjeer did.

“Zanjeer is the movie that gave my dream a genuine boost. What a film. The simple youthful mind’s jo hua tha mujhe lagta nahi hai, and the movie’s unimportant topic kia tha. No other movie can compare to what Zanjeer did to my impressionable mind. I was inspired to do something after seeing that performance, the actor stated.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-60892″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-manoj-bajpayee-remembers-amitabh-bachchans-zanjeers-influence-on-his-young-mind-download-2023-07-06t164911.577.jpg” alt=”” width=”1417″ height=”745″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-manoj-bajpayee-remembers-amitabh-bachchans-zanjeers-influence-on-his-young-mind-download-2023-07-06t164911.577.jpg 310w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-manoj-bajpayee-remembers-amitabh-bachchans-zanjeers-influence-on-his-young-mind-download-2023-07-06t164911.577-150×79.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1417px) 100vw, 1417px” />

Amitabh Bachchan gave a classic performance, which Manoj Bajpayee appreciated and called extraordinary. He didn’t rewatch it, however, out of concern that it would lose some of the film’s mystifying allure and nostalgic allure.

Manoj Bajpayee acknowledged feeling a sense of envy when he saw Vijay Varma in Dahaad while discussing the current crop of actors. He acknowledged wishing he had received the job offer instead. He recognized that Vijay would probably reply, “Sir, you already have so many projects in the kitty,” if he heard him, however.

The actor also lauded Govinda, describing him as absolutely extraordinary, especially for the kind of movies he made. No one else, according to Manoj, can do what Govinda does with such ease.

He also said that Govinda’s films were his guilty pleasure and that he was a die-hard admirer. He remembered working with Govinda on the movie Money Hai Toh Honey Hai and learning important lessons from his co-star.

The third season of Manoj Bajpayee’s wildly popular online series The Family Man is now in the works. According to reports, the programme focuses on terrorism in North East India. The last time we saw Manoj Bajpayee was in Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai.
