Hardik Pandya Lauds Rashid Khan Despite Losing To MI At Wankhede In The IPL 2023

While chasing a massive 218 against Mumbai Indians on Friday at the Wankhede stadium, Gujarat Titans were in trouble at 103 for eight. Rashid Khan then increased his game and began trading sixes. He and Alzarri Joseph went all the way in the game, but they were unable to push their team over the finish line. Rashid scored an astounding 79* off 32 balls to stay unblemished. He hit three fours and ten sixes in one inning. GT skipper Hardik Pandya praised the great all-rounder who came through with the bat and had previously taken four wickets after the team lost by 27 runs.

It seemed as if just Rashid (from our crew) showed arrived. He was outstanding in both his bowling and batting. After this outcome, there isn't much effort required. At the post-game presentation, he stated, “We weren't there as a team.

After being given the opportunity to bat, MI scored 218 for 5 thanks to the top T20 player in the world, Suryakumar, who scored 103 runs off only 49 balls. They then held GT to 191 for 8 to earn their eighth victory of the year. This was MI's fourth straight home game with a 200-plus score.

In addition to Suryakumar's brilliant performance, which included 11 fours and 6 sixes, the home team also received contributions from Rohit Sharma (29), Ishan Kishan (31) and Vishnu Vinod (30).

With 219 to chase, GT was in danger of being bowled out for a low score, but Rashid's devastating unbeaten 79 off just 32 balls, which included three fours and 10 sixes, significantly lowered the margin of loss.
