<p>Robin Uthappa, a former cricketer for India, would jump at the chance to coach an Indian Premier League (IPL) club since he “knows” how well-rounded T20 teams compete.</p>

<p>“Depending, I would definitely want to be a part of the team. If the chance arises, I’ll definitely think about it. Yes (coach), I would love to assist with planning.After his outstanding performance helped Harae Hurricanes defeat Durban Qalandars in the Zimbabwe Afro T10 League, Uthappa told IANS that he may work in cricket operations or as director of cricket since he feels like he “knows what it takes” to offer a side the greatest opportunity to win.</p>
<p>“Because I’ve worked with various teams and understand how well they function, I can put structures in place that will aid in achieving them, something I love to do,” she said. So if such chances arise, I’ll definitely take them into consideration,” he said.</p>
<p>Uthappa, a right-handed batsman who now competes for Harare Hurricanes in the Zim Afro T10 League, has stated his wish to play more cricket in the future.</p>
<p>The former KKR batsman, who has played for India in both ODI and T20 international matches, is renowned for his aggressive style of limited-overs cricket.</p>
<p>“Well, I want to play cricket more. I waited for the whole year—10 months—to play in the IPL. Ranji Trophy was not included; at 36 years old, you are assuming the place of the child. Because the IPL is so much higher than domestic cricket, you are not participating in red-ball cricket and are just showing up for white-ball matches for practice, he added.</p>
<p>“So you are aware that you are practicing with it. I thought that by participating in this competition, I would be able to compete in many more tournaments since I wanted to play cricket more. Because I want to play cricket much more. I absolutely like the game, I take pleasure in it, and I have a great time playing it. As time passes, I want to play a lot more cricket, Uthappa said.</p>
<p>Uthappa turned back time and scored freely against the Durban Qalandars on Wednesday, giving the Harare Hurricanes an electrifying performance with the bat. He hit an impressive half-century.</p>
<p>Uthappa scored 53 runs in 23 balls to lead Harare Hurricanes to a 24 run victory against Durban Qalandars.</p>
<p>He stated of the T10 format, “T10 is a terrific endeavor to bring the game of cricket to many young countries that play cricket. It’s a fantastic form of the game to bring to Europe to teach cricket to people there before gradually introducing them to the T20 version or ODIs. It is a fantastic version to also be included in the Olympics.</p>
<p>The former CSK batter expressed his admiration for Zimbabwe’s wonderful weather and his affection for visiting here.</p>
<p>“I adore Zimbabwe, I adore Zimbabwe completely. I adore the people and the environment. Coming down here is popular because of the lovely weather and abundant animals. I’m happy that I was able to take my wife with me. And I’ll bring my kids too next year,” Uthappa said in his last statement.</p>
