<p>The actor has requested security protection from the Maharashtra government after receiving threats against his life in relation to the hit song “Besharam Rang” from his movie “Pathaan,” which debuted earlier this year.</p>
<p>The usage of the color saffron in one of actress Deepika Padukone’s gowns in the song has offended some fringe ensembles. These organizations felt the song mocked the saffron color, which is linked with Hindu emotion, and related the song’s title with the color.</p>
<p>Ayodhya-based seer Paramhans Acharya reportedly threatened the actor’s life after the argument over the song.</p>
<p>According to a media source, the actor requested the security coverage in a letter to the state administration.</p>
<p>SRK will get 11 security personnel in the Y+ category, including six commandos, four police officers, and a traffic enforcement vehicle. For those residents whose lives are at danger, the state offers Y+ security.</p>
<p>In response to a request from the state government, the IG VIP protection increased the actor’s protection, for which he must make a deposit.</p>
<p>Following threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang, Bollywood actor Salman Khan was already given Y+ security coverage in the previous year.</p>
<p>The Lawrence Bishnoi group is the same group who killed Punjabi music icon Sidhu Moosewala in broad daylight.</p>
<p>Shah Rukh Khan has previously engaged in criminal activity in Mumbai and is renowned for resisting intimidation.</p>
