After the LSG vs. RCB game, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli engage in a verbal altercation

After Monday's Indian Premier League match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir engaged in verbal combat.

The former opener who is now a member of the LSG support staff and the master batsman for the RCB and India added another chapter to their bitter rivalry by exchanging words during what seemed to be a heated debate.

Amit Mishra, RCB captain Faf du Plessis, and LSG assistant coach Vijay Dahiya had to separate the two.

Kohli was also seen talking to LSG skipper KL Rahul after the brawl.

With Kohli scoring 31, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated their opponent by 18 runs.

It seems that the argument was started by Kohli's short exchange with LSG starter Kyle Mayers.

The LSG players and support personnel continually stopped Gambhir from storming towards Kohli despite the fact that he seemed to be the more excited of the two. The two shook hands and then exchanged this.

At home, the Lucknow Super Giants' dismal streak continued as they failed to pursue 127. After a disastrous start, Lucknow lost its top five batsmen in seven overs. Despite some effort from Krishnappa Gowtham, LSG were dismissed for 108 in 19.5 overs.

Gambhir made the'shut up' sign to the Bengaluru fans during the most recent IPL 2023 match between LSG and RCB.
